WELCOME

Dr. Watamaniuk received his B.Sc. (Psychology) from the University of Alberta, and his M.S. and Ph.D. (Psychology, Perception) from Northwestern University in 1990 under the direction of Dr. Robert Sekuler, an expert in the field of vision, motion perception, and aging. From 1989 to 1995, Dr. Watamaniuk was a Research Fellow and Research Associate at The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco, CA. Smith-Kettlewell is a premier private research institute comprised of about 20 scientists studying various aspects of vision, from retinal and cortical physiology to visual evoked potentials to psychophysical studies of normal and patient populations. Dr. Watamaniuk is considered an expert in visual motion perception and reviews journal articles and grant proposals for a variety of agencies.
