Psychology is a broad scientific discipline that studies basic processes in the areas of perception, cognition, learning, and behavioral neuroscience and how those processes are integrated in personality, social interaction, development across the lifespan, abnormal psychology, how those basic processes are applied to workplace human-machine system interaction, and human well-being.

Majoring in Psychology is also an excellent major to prepare for a graduate program in Psychology or related areas and a professional school.
